Sendero Canyon

Sendero is a Spanish word for “path” which is the inspiration for this special neighbourhood. The Naramata Bench development lands are 163 acres located 10 minutes from downtown Penticton in BC’s Okanagan region.  In April of 2019, Canadian Horizons submitted a rezoning proposal for approximately 350 residential units ranging from large single-family lots to townhomes.  There is also a proposed business park and agricultural landuse designated in the plan.  This latest master-planned community boasts significant land preservation that includes parks and trails for the whole community to enjoy.  Canadian Horizons hopes to complete rezoning for this proposal in 2020 with construction starting on the first of many phases in early 2021.

Thomson Flats

City of Kelowna, BC

 Thomson Flats is an assembly of two properties that total 160 acres and is located in the highly desirable Southwest Mission area of the City of Kelowna, approximately 15 minutes from the downtown core.  The project received approvals from the City of Kelowna Council to commence an Area Structure Plan (ASP) in 2015.  Over the past 5 years, Canadian Horizons and Melcor Developments Ltd. have worked closely with the City of Kelowna's staff, the community and consultants to finalize the ASP.  This ASP is close to completion with the anticipation of proceeding to Council for approval in the summer of 2020.  Canadian Horizons anticipates submitting the first phase rezoning application in late 2020.

Bear Mountain

City of Langford, BC

Canadian Horizons provided development management services to the company holding title to significant single family and multiple family residential land holdings in the Bear Mountain master planned community. It negotiated subdivision approvals on four phases totaling 74 lots. It also managed the site development and marketing programs for these phases.

Eastside Ridge

City of Vernon, BC
